Jobson, LLC  

Jobson, LLC

DPCI helped Jobson design and implement a content management system that leverages the power of Microsoft's enterprise technologies to deliver content to print and Web formats. The recommended solution was a multi-tier application using Win2003 server, SQL Server 2003, the .NET Framework, DeKlarit and XML. Using DeKlarit for C#.NET and ASP.NET an object-oriented optic data structure was created. DeKlarit was used as the data manager in between the business logic layer and SQL Server 2003.

DPCI was commissioned by Comcast to build a comprehensive online-to-print publishing system, including new, self-service tools designed to simplify the process of creating targeted marketing and advertising tactics.

Fast Company

DPCI developed FastPDF, an application that parses well-formed XML documents into highly designed PDF files, all in batch mode. With FastPDF, Fast Company can now generate literally hundreds of PDF versions of articles within minutes.

Fastline sought a way to offer its customers an online ad creation tool that did not require any special knowledge of QuarkXPress or InDesign.

Sotheby's selected DPCI to implement a solution that would allow Sotheby's to import XML into QuarkXPress and produce catalogs without compromising either design integrity or workflow.

The Federal Reserve Bank  

The Federal Reserve Bank

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta selected DPCI to implement a solution to extract creative content from QuarkXPress in postproduction, convert it to XML format, then submit it to The Feds existing Spectra repository where it is available for publishing to other formats.

DPCI assisted Hanley Wood in the implementation of the K4 publishing system, which has revolutionized the company's production process. Designers and editors are able to collaborate more effectively, and working with K4 has shortened Hanley Wood’s average production cycle.

JoongAng-Ilbo (South Korean English Newspaper)  

JoongAng-Ilbo (South Korean English Newspaper)

JoongAng-Ilbo, the premier newspaper for South Korea, selected DPCI to implement an editorial workflow system. DPCI trained staff on the system and supported the roll out, both on site and remotely, and suggested major improvements in interdepartmental collaboration as well as in content reuse from the Korean daily and to the English Website.

In record time and under budget, DPCI eagled the implementation of the Quark Publishing System for Maximum Golf. The magazine's first issue appeared in June, 2000 and demonstrated the best in editorial and design quality.

The Chronicle (Duke University)  

The Chronicle (Duke University)

DPCI implemented the K4 publishing system at The Chronicle, Duke University's student newspaper, to meet its daily publications needs. Additionally, DPCI helped The Chronicle streamline workflow, train end users, and support staff during the first few weeks of production.

The Technology Review (MIT)  

The Technology Review (MIT)

DPCI was retained to assist the Technology Review's management in enhancing editorial and production workflow. DPCI further implemented an InDesign CS/InCopy workflow solution called SmartConnection Enterprise to allow internal and external contributors to more effectively produce content for the Review.
